Summer Sundays at the Bandstand is a FREE weekly live music event held over at the Pavilion Bandstand gardens every Sunday from 5th May to the 1st of September. Ronan Williams will be performing between 11am-1pm and The Vibettes will be performing between 2pm-4pm. This year you'll be able to hire a deckchair from our box office at a cost of £5 for the entire day or £3 from 2pm-4pm if you're just coming along for the afternoon session. You can also enjoy drinks out in the gardens from our theatre bar and there's even some FREE Punch & Judy shows in the Summer Holiday weeks! There's also plenty of places to eat around the gardens and of course the beautiful Gorleston beach is just a stone's throw away. From brass bands to ukulele bands, there really is something for everyone to enjoy!

Our hugely popular 'Summer Showtime' variety show is back for the 2024 season! Featuring the inimitable Olly Day as your host, this year we are also welcoming some new faces to guest appear throughout the season.
Alongside our stunning vocalists Aaron Bolton and Nina Taylor, the fabulous Ben Langley, Pip Randelle, Danny Lee Grew, Tommy J. and Ian Larkin will all be providing comedy, magic and all round fun and laughter for your entertainment.

Joined by our high energy Showtime dancers and the incredible aerial talents of Sue King, ' Summer Showtime ' is guaranteed to leave you smiling and singing all the way home.

Charles Ignatius Sancho was born on a slave ship on the Atlantic Ocean in 1729, yet he became a writer, composer, shopkeeper and respected ‘man of letters’ in 18th century London.

SANCHO & ME - FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY is a performance by Paterson Joseph accompanied by Ben Park, co-creator, musical director and delivered directly to the audience, part-improvised each night and built around his recent novel THE SECRET DIARIES OF CHARLES IGNATIUS SANCHO.

SANCHO & ME - FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY explores ideas of belonging, language, education, slavery, commerce, violence, threat, politics, music and love - and where these themes intersect with Paterson's own story of being Black and British.

Described as 'remarkable' and perfect for all ages 12 and upwards, the show is ably underscored live on-stage using Sancho's compositions and original music by co-creator, composer and musician Ben Park.

With his powerful voice, Martin Jarvis was always told, "you sound like Tom Jones" and was endlessly asked to perform a 'Tom' song. One song always led to another and soon he was performing his complete 'Tom Jones Tribute Show' all over the world, from Vegas to Hong Kong. Since the success of the 'Reload' album, the Brit Awards, his Knighthood and TV show The Voice, Sir Tom has gained a new set of fans and Martin has blended the new songs in with the timeless favourites. Such has been the accuracy of his reproductions of all the songs, song writers such as 'Chicane' have booked Martin to record songs for future single and album releases for the Man himself. Martin has also appeared alongside Tom on a video shoot for 'Black Betty', one of his single releases. Now That's What I Call Drag

This show had an amazing impact at The Pavilion in 2022 and we are proud to have the Seriously Collins show back for 2023. Led by a charismatic frontman with stunning vocals, Seriously Phil Collins has amazed audiences worldwide! Chris was the front man for the award winning Phil Collins Tribute Band at the 2016 National Tribute Awards. Featuring highly experienced professional musicians, Seriously Phil Collins is the ultimate tribute. This lively non stop show guarantees you a truly amazing experience both musically and visually. The band performs some of Phil Collins' biggest hits such as In The Air Tonight, Sussudio, You Can’t Hurry Love, the very memorable Easy Lover and many many more. They also feature the top hits from Genesis, from Invisible Touch, Land of Confusion, In Too Deep and Turn It On Again. Review A s the audience settled down for the start of the show, onto stage came Chris Hayward. The front man settled down behind one of two drum kits and launched into a solo…  When Hayward began to sing, his resemblance to the soulful Collins vocals was uncanny. I closed my eyes; it sounded exactly like him. The highlight of the set for me was the seminal 'In the Air Tonight'. When Hayward moved to the drums to play that famous 'da-dum da-dum da-dum da-dum dum dum!' the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. After the set came to a close with 'Take Me Home', the audience rose to give a standing ovation. Talking to people on the way out, the verdict was unanimously positive. Hayward is vocally as close to the real thing as you can possibly get.

The front man settled down behind one of two drum kits and launched into a solo&hellip;&nbsp; When Hayward began to sing, his resemblance to the soulful Collins vocals was uncanny. I closed my eyes; it sounded exactly like him. The highlight of the set for me was the seminal 'In the Air Tonight'. When Hayward moved to the drums to play that famous 'da-dum da-dum da-dum da-dum dum dum!' the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. After the set came to a close with 'Take Me Home', the audience rose to give a standing ovation. Talking to people on the way out, the verdict was unanimously positive. Hayward is vocally as close to the real thing as you can possibly get.&nbsp;</span>

Alan Fletcher is a household name in the UK because of his portrayal of Dr Karl Kennedy in the popular Australian drama Neighbours. Thousands of people also well remember Alan’s touring band The Waiting Room that performed their unique rock n roll throughout the UK for ten years. Since 2019 Alan has focussed on Americana/Alt-Country music, working with Australian producers Lachlan Bryan and Damian Cafarella to write and record an EP and Album of alternatively poignant and very funny songs about life, love, loss and beer! His album has attracted widespread praise.

It is as a live performer that Alan has made his mark highlighted by his two-week tour of the UK in 2023. Overall Alan Fletcher delivered a show that surprised in the best possible way. He had a fantastic vocal quality throughout as well as some solid guitar playing, but what elevated the evening for me was the balance he struck between thoughtfulness and fun and the strength of his connection with the crowd.
